Agustin Canapino is a multiple Argentine touring car champion and the son of renowned race car mechanic Alberto Canapino. While he might be listed as a rookie this season, his racing accolades span from decorated sim racer to 2018 Olimpia de Oro award winner as Argentine sportsman of the year. Before joining the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, his career included 15 national championships in Argentina, including Super TC2000, Top Race V6 and Turismo Carretera categories titles. He also has endurance race experience driving in the Rolex 24 At Daytona and Twelve Hours of Sebring with Juncos Racing in 2019. This year, Canapino says his goal is to finish the races and evolve throughout the season.
